Apologies for a brief post! Super busy (and fun) week. Tonight calls for pizza, cuddling with the pups, and pondering dreams/purpose. Here are some finds from around the web:

I’m so in the mood for white jeans. Especially on one of our last “cool” evenings with a slouchy top, scarf and booties like above. Granted it was 90 degrees here today so not sure that “one last evening” will happen until the fall, but a girl can dream. I pulled out my only pair of white jeans a couple weeks ago. And while I loved the look – worn with my new Rag and Bone tee and a very old DVF moto jacket – there was an issue. My sweet, always tactful friend let me know my jeans were too big. Please, this was a problem I didn’t mind having. First, my jeans were actually too big. And I had an excuse to shop. I have these Rag and Bone jeans in a casual, denim wash and always get tons of compliments. So thinking I need to invest in the white version (especially since this sale is happening). Meanwhile, I was digging up these finds from around the web – happy Wednesday!

I’ve been a mad woman cleaning out my closets and refreshing my wardrobe this past month. Honestly, it has grounded me and made my mornings so much easier. Plus, I have found some items in my closet I forgot I even had – embarrassing but also kinda fun. While I have been evaluating and researching spring trends, flared denim keeps popping on my radar. I think that is my next investment piece – so retro, but still fresh and elongating. I love this pair right now.

Wednesday On The Web

While my effort at a bare face this week (inspiration above) is going fairly well, I am a bit discouraged by my persistent red nose thanks to this nasty spring cold. I have been relying on Fresh Black Tea goodies to sooth skin while hydrating with Aquaphor and face oils. My routine includes primer, blush, filling-in and brushing eyebrows and a heavy application of mascara (helps looking awake despite clogged sinuses). And clearly there is nothing on my lips but my beloved Carmex despite my proclamations last week.
