spring face

I’m lazy. Super lazy in the AM. Now that I have gotten to know my coworkers fairly well, I don’t feel like I need to put on a super full face of makeup every single day. But one thing I just can’t seem to kick is mascara and a neutral pout. This image above is just so spring and polished with the powerful coral/orange lipstick. It shall be my inspiration to step up my lip game.

Hope you guys had a wonderful Saint Patrick’s Day. I was cozy at home with the pups. Trolling the web, I found some treats from around the web to share with you:

This article was totally written for me, the introvert.

I am no New Yorker, I used to think I knew the city well. This quiz tells me I only “kinda” know NYC. (side note: I sense a theme… maybe I should have started a blog about maps)

Speaking of maps.

Loving these pants for work – so tempted to order a pair in each color. While it doesn’t work on these pants, you can score some major deals on other goodies with code SALELOVE.

I am not a cat person, but I can appreciate a good feline – especially this one.

I could try and get rid of cable but then this would happen.

So many of my favorite Joie items on sale at Piperlime. Enter code LUCKYME for an extra 30% off.

Versona Accessories Opens in Tulsa

Versona Accessories Opens in Tulsa on Belle Belle BeautyBefore a couple weeks ago, I had never heard of Versona Accessories. Shame on me because the stores are all over the southern United States. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I was invited to attend the grand opening right here in Tulsa.

Needless to say I was thrilled to find affordable accessories, clothes and shoes! The store is huge, but the staff was helpful without being overbearing. I was impressed – considering the prices – how well constructed the shoes were and how rich the fabrics felt! And bonus points for the smattering of work wear.

I picked up a bunch of jersey basics (starting at $19.99). I was tempted by the shoes but decided to wait until spring was in full swing. Needless to say, I will be returning. And good news for those living where there isn’t a store – Versona just launched e-commerce.

That’s not all – I am sharing the love today and teamed up with Versona to give away one $25 gift card. Just enter using the widget below. Sorry 🙁 US only on this one.

Springtime Peony on Belle Belle Beauty

There must be something about springtime – I am getting so many questions about improving skin – from gadgets to serum to retinols. I think we look to this season as a reason to start anew whether it is because we soon will be wearing swimsuits or wearing less makeup. One of the skin care lines my girls are buzzing about is Tatcha, one of my favorites (learn more about the brand here). And now is the time to let your fingers go shopping.

The line just launched their latest – Tatcha: Indigo Enzyme Powder – their gentlest exfoliator yet. Get complimentary Aburitorigami Beauty Papers ($12 value) with any order over $20 at Tatcha with code TREAT2015 through 3/31. Some other finds from around the web:

I have a confession – I don’t love beauty vlogs. But Lisa’s and this one in particular with Alexa is captivating!

Taking a cue from Taylor – I can (and have been) a dating jerk. Time to turn this ship around.

A dreamy neutral outfit.

OMG a cocktail tower on my (future) property? I think yes!

I LOVE MAPS.

This game full of design inspiration will be filling my entire weekend.

Spring Ease on Belle Belle Beauty

Whoa… hello there March. March, you came rushing through the door – February always throws me off with the shorter month. But we shall take you, first month of Spring. Apparently our last hurrah of winter arrives early this AM in the form of snow and ice. Meanwhile, I am dreaming of messy summer hair and a voluminous tunic just like above. To keep you warm and toasty, some finds from around the web:

Don’t miss my favorite sale of the season here.

Amber, my fellow beauty blogger and dear friend, also admits to also hating the chore of blow drying her hair. I have to pick up her favorite staple for speeding things up.

So tempted to overdress and rent this dress for an upcoming event.

I still haven’t quite settled on how I personally feel about having children but this essay was thought provoking. “I love the spare, quiet rooms of my grown-up house.

My buddy and I totally “ghosted” on Friday with no regrets. What do you think of this practice?

And some favorite finds from Feb below:
