Wintertime Beauty

Wintertime Beauty on Belle Belle Beauty

By now, I hope you all have transitioned over to your winter beauty routine. Even though we have been slow to cool down here, I am getting a jump on staying hydrated and embracing winter colors in anticipation. Heck, I might even put my tree up this weekend. After adjusting a reviewing tons of new (and old) products, I’ve come up with a winter beauty routine that centers on radiant skin. My favorites:

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in 69 has a saucy name and is my pick out of the many creamy lip colors you can find these days. It is what finally got me to embrace a red lip. It glides on smoothly with a wallop of pigment while Urban Decay’s proprietary Maxi-Lip defines and hydrates your pout.

My sensitive skin craves a rich and gentle moisturizer and this year I am loving Simple Skincare Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. Its nourishing ingredients keep my skin hydrated all day and the vitamins help give a great glow. Plus, it works well under makeup.

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée is infused with coconut water so while it provides a perfect winter flush, the formula hydrates skin. It acts like a gel stain, it has the feel of a cream blush.

I’m experiencing the inevitable winter pallor and while I am generally okay with it, a tights-free cocktail dress requires some color on these legs. Caudalie Divine Legs smells amazing, adds the perfect shade of bronze, doesn’t come off on my clothes. Meanwhile, grape oil nourishes skin.

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you know eye brows are big this season. I am amping up my already full brows with NARS Brow Perfector. It has a velvety, natural looking finish and allows for precise application.
