Omorovicza Moor Mud – Free Samples & A Discount!

Omorovicza Moor Mud on Belle Belle Beauty

Such a special treat for you today – one of my all time favorite brands is offering something special to you guys, my dear readers. This is an amazing opportunity to try out the exclusive and luxury Omorovicza.

I’ve posted lots about this brand but for a refresher: Omorovicza a brand I discovered at Neiman Marcus years ago and it embodies true luxury. Omorovicza was founded in 2005 by Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza. Founded upon the benefits of the thermal waters of Budapest, their formulas have transformative effects. The couple worked with the Hungarian Nobel winner laboratory to harness those benefits into a skincare line.

I have been testing out the Moor Mud range – many members are already part of my all-time favorites. The products I’ve been using are Thermal Cleansing Balm, The Deep Cleansing Mask and the Refining Facial Polisher. I mentioned the Thermal Cleansing Balm last week but as a recap: absolutely love the gel-like cleansing combined with the nourishing effects. The Deep Cleansing Mask (like other mud masks) is what I rely on to unclog my pores. And the Refining Facial Polisher (new to me) was gentle enough on my redness-prone skin, but effective at ridding my face of dead skin cells and returning a radiance.

So now here is the real cake: you, dear readers, get to take advantage of a sampling campaign – you will receive the 3 moor mud samples just by submitting your name and shipping address on this site:

Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm

Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm // Belle Belle Beauty

I have no qualms going luxe with lip balms. Sometimes you just need to bring in the heavy hitters. I’ve been scrubbing, conditioning and moisturizing all winter long. And my lips were still flaky and dry. While I love my Dior Lip Glow for during the day (it has a dose of hydration), I wanted a color-free intensive treatment for night time or when I am typing away at my desk.

This rich balm contains Shea butter, eucalyptus and hyaluronic spheres to fill and smooth lips. Other goodies like Omega 6 ceramide and Virgin Ente plum oil restores a supple, hydrated look look. I particularly like the long-lasting soothing feeling Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm leaves with a slight minty tingle. With daily use for over a month, I still haven’t put a dent in the pot of goodness.

Best Masks for an At-Home Facial

Best Masks for an At-Home Facial // Belle Belle Beauty

One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to do more at home facials. Since weekly spa treatments aren’t really in the budget, I’ve been adopting some at home versions and have been pleasantly surprised by how results-oriented they can be. Here are some of my most favorite masks and treatments I’ve used lately:

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask is the class spa mask loaded with Hungarian thermal mud to nourish while cleansing the skin. For all skin types, this traditional experience leaves my skin feeling uber-clean but also enriched and radiant. The white clay helps draw out oil and toxins, but without leaving my dry skin feeling stripped.

bliss ‘No Zit Sherlock’ Breakout-Busting Rubberizing Mask is what I turn to when I am feeling a little congested (in the skin that is). If I were a black head, I would shutter if I saw me whipping this stuff up. The mix-it-yourself mask transforms into a rubbery, thick texture that sops up oil and clog-causing debris. Seaweed, tea tree and menthol nourish and calm while cleansing.

Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask is a great mask when my skin is feeling a little sensitive. The rich formula infuses skin with vitamins and plant extracts to rejuvenate and plump. Fine lines are diminished and tone is brightened. If I am slightly red or irritated from dryness or too much retinol, the black rose cream soothes and softens skin.

SK-II Facial Treatment Mask is my dream travel companion. I haven’t been brave enough to wear this alien-looking mask on the actual plane. But every time I happen to have one, I immediate apply for a little pick-me-up once I check into my hotel. The cotton is soaked with vitamins, organic acids and minerals to return skin to normal operating behavior. Radiance and moisture are back in the game.

Somme Institute ‘Boost’ Maska warming mask, is particularly pleasant in the winter. The warming action increases blood flow, allowing for nourishing delivery of minerals and enzymes. The spicy, pumpkin scent sounds seasonal, but you’ll be drawn to it all year long.

Omorovicza Gold Rescue Cream

Omorovicza-Gold-Rescue-Cream on Belle Belle Beauty

Attention fans of La Mer and SK-II – I have a cream for you and you’re going to love it. Omorovicza Gold Rescue Cream uses a similar technique to La Mer, but is all natural. Like La Mer, it is a water-in-oil creme: the Gold Rescue Cream traps thermal water molecules for greater hydration. The formula is super rich, while the consistancy is almost gel like. It nourishes skin but still quickly absorbs, making it a pleasure to use.

My dry, sensitive skin drank this stuff up. I would compare it to the SK-II Signature Cream in that it is ultra-soothing with no unnecessary fragrance or active ingredients. I’ve been using in morning and night on my face and my neck. I’ve noticed a little bit more glow as I have incorporated loads of Omorovicza products. Note, I am “all in” using much of the line daily right now. See this Instagram of my vanity:

I’m inspired by the unique ingredients this company incorporates into their skin care. Things like gold and ruby just scream luxe. While those who love natural products will be thrilled with their approach to ingredient sourcing. Key elements to the formula:

  • Gold: A powerful anti-inflammatory, repairs accumulated micro-damage to repair and strengthen the skin.
  • Omega 6 Ceramide: Retextures the lipid matrix for a stronger barrier function.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide and Caprooyl Tetrapeptide: Polypeptides strengthen dermo-proteins such as elastin and collagen for renewed elasticity and vitality.
  • Ruby Crystal: Lends the skin instant radiance, helping to blur fine lines and minimize the appearance of imperfections.
A little more about Omorovicza: In 2006, Margaret and Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza began using an ancient healing resource in their skin care system. Their products harness the curitive properties that have been found in Hungary’s thermal baths for 2,000 years. And their packaging is elegant and harkens a glamourous age. Check out other Omorovicza product reviews here.

Omorovicza The Gold Body Set

Want to whip your skin into summer shape in the most luxurious way? Look no further than the Omorovicza The Gold Body Set. I’d like to say this would make a great present, but I couldn’t possibly part with it and kept it all for myself. I mean, the products contain GOLD! All three products are amazing used in conjunction, but you can also get them a la carte.

First: Gold Sugar Scrub. This is a very granulated scrub that does a great job getting my skin beach ready. It doesn’t irritate but it is an active, physical exfoliator with fair trade golden cane sugar. I love the gentle, spa-like scent – same for all three products. I never knew that gold was an anti-inflammatory and can repair sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles. The scrub also softens the skin with oils and Capsicum peptide, made from peppers, promotes a healthy glow.

Second: Body Cream. Incredibly rich, this cream really softens skin. My skin looks healthier than it ever has before. Maybe because I can’t stop using this stuff? It also can tighten and revitalize skin. Plum almond oil, Rice germ oil and Jojoba oil moisturize and soothe.

Third: Gold Shimmer Oil. My favorite among the collection, this luminous oil really nourishes my skin. I used to use it in the shower and then decided I didn’t want to waste one bit. I now put it on over the Body Cream and it is almost like it seals in the moisture. Calendula oil helps heal and repair the skin. Anti-oxidants act as a defense as you head out into the world. If you don’t want to indulge in the whole set, I urge you to pick up this oil. The gold shimmer is stunning, especially with a summer glow. The flecks are visible but it looks tastefully “blinged out”.

BB Creams – My Favorites for Each Skin Type

A BB Cream (initials for “Beauty Balm” or “Blemish Balm”) is a moisturizer, sunscreen, and skin care treatment all in one. They were first popularized in Asia and have since taken the US by storm. They are literally EVERYWHERE. As a beauty editor, the questions I most often get are “How do I pick a BB Cream?” or “Which BB Cream is your favorite?”. So, this article is designed to narrow down my favorites based on your exact needs.

First, I must disclose, this is probably my most favorite beauty product at the moment. It is a multi-tasker that prevents aging, makes skin look even and still have a natural look about it. They work great as a primer with SPF under foundation. Or on their own if you don’t need as much coverage. One of these should definitely be in your makeup arsenal.

Best for combo/oily skin: Boscia B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++

This oil-free formula comes in only one shade but works on a wide range of complexions. It has a watery consistency that blends easily and won’t clog pores. The addition of Abyssine, a naturally-derived survival molecule, can actually calm skin inflamed by breakouts or sensitivity.

Best for dry skin: NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30/PA+++

NARS has a high SPF with a dewy and hydrated finish. The coverage is fairly substantial for a tinted moisturizer and this keeps my dry skin plump and glowy all day. They have a great shade range and the slightly yellow undertones neutralize redness. NARS also promises to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation with four weeks of continued use. My dark spots did improve while I was using NARS but I also had steps in my skincare to fight darks spots.

Best for dry skin with lighter coverage Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++

This formula by Dr. Jart is made with 50 percent water, hydrating skin to give a healthy finish. This is great for a hot summer day because the water actually has a cooling effect as it is applied to the skin. The coverage is slightly lighter than his Premium formulation seen below.

Best for sensitive or red skin: Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB Cream SPF 20, 1.7

This silicon-free formula is perfect for easily irritated skin. The luxury formula has loads of skin care benefits, including Hyaluronic acid, adding hydration. The coverage is light but it easily minimizes redness and gives a glowy finish without looking too dewy.

Best for varying coverage or as a primer: Miracle Skin™ Transformer

This vitamin rich formula evens skin while still being light-weight. Its formula and coverage makes it particularly well suited to build as you need more coverage and contains scilicon to give it a bit of “slip”. This also makes it a great primer under a fuller coverage foundation. This was a lifesaver in the winter when I needed more coverage for redness in the center of my face, but was stil able to use a lighter application on my cheeks and forehead.

Best SPF: Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 PA+++

While these other formulas have between 20-30 SPF, Dr. Jart amped it up with this formula. His “Premium” version is perfect for summer days spent outdoors. He didn’t skip on skin care properties – bio-peptides and adenosine protect skin from harsh environmental factors while restoring firmness and elasticity.

For a drugstore alternative: Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream

Garnier did a great job bringing BB Cream to the drugstore, available for $12.99. They have two shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Deep.
