rms beauty buriti bronzer

rms beauty buriti bronzer on belle belle beauty

Regular readers already know how much I love the natural makeup line rms beauty. I have invested in the living luminizer and “un” cover-up (both of which I am wild about). When I spotted the buriti bronzer, I just had to have it. This creamy, organic proper contains Buriti oil packed with vitamin A and beta-carotene. The pigment comes off very sheer for a perfect subtle winter glow. There is very little sparkle adding to its natural look. I also love a wash  on eyelids for a simple eyeshadow look.

I can’t wait to pick up another rms beauty gem soon. Available at Amazon, Anthropologie and NET-A-PORTER.

Changing Seasons on Belle Belle Beauty

After a run to CVS today, I threw away all my old mascaras and started new with the classic Maybelline Great Lash. This article has me wanting to purge my whole collection of “stale” makeup.

And just in time to restock, some fabulous European beauty items to grab online.

I might just have to add to my collection of these favorite jeans – absolutely the best I’ve found.

Not sure why I hesitated getting BarkBox for Izzy and Tink… we just got our first box and it was totally worth it! The toys are well-made and crowd-pleasers. The treats were perfect for my smaller pups (you designate what size pup you have when ordering).

October Favorites

Autumn Sweater on Belle Belle Beauty

Thinking about my former city, Austin, tonight as they are dealing with a massive amount of rain. Stay safe, Texas! The rain has arrived here in Oklahoma, but unlike South Texas, it is a welcome relief here. One of my pups is a little under the weather (but overall okay). So this calls for a cozy weekend in with football, cooking (butternut squash salad) and sleeping in.

In the meantime, I am trying out a new skin care routine from dr. brant that I know you guys will be excited to hear about. So far, I am very impressed. And here are some of my favorites from October. I was in major shopping mode this month, investing in and keeping my eye on some “forever” items:

Fall Layers on Belle Belle Beauty

Apologies for no Monday post this week. The last couple of days have been kinda weird. Monday I was dead tired despite staying in all weekend. I think I must have been (successfully) fighting a cold. Yesterday was one of those rambling but busy days that is just slightly unsettling. I took the evening to right the ship with a workout and cozy time with the pups. Hope the week returns to normal today! In exchange for a missed post, you’ll find an extra long list of links this week:

So much info in these awesome beauty charts.

I finished The Secret History last night (tough but beautiful read). I just downloaded Fates and Furies to start tonight.

A dreamy winter coat that I have my eyes on.

Can’t wait to try this beautiful side pony.

I’ve got travel fever and this new startup site is right up my alley – sort destinations generally like “beach trips in February from Tulsa”.

Sometimes diet and exercise can only take us so far – 20 tips to fake a hot body.

I am so going to use this sleep calculator!

I just bit the bullet and got all new bras and underwear. This bra is my favorite.

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel

If there is one Murad product I’ve been hearing about lately, it has been the Intensive-C Radiance Peel. And as a huge Murad fan, naturally I had to try it. My skin has all the dullness coupled with redness (not a good look) that the colder weather usually brings. So something that could smooth and brighten at the same time as adding much-needed hydration was right up my alley.

This mask actually goes after environmentally damaged skin. While I have tried to be safe in the sun, I certainly have had my fair share of sun damage and all the effects of being an urban city dweller. Like a professional peel, this has a slight tingling sensation but doesn’t itch or annoy in any way. And I am left with a similar luminosity after. My skin is exfoliated and tightened, but not dry.

I like to apply after evening showers once or twice a week. The recommended 10 minute treatment does the trick. Cruelty-free. Available at Sephora and Amazon.
