Kevyn Aucoin Beauty ‘The Sensual Skin’ Enhancer

_6781584

I was just having a fun makeup conversation with my mom, and we started discussing a favorite new product of mine. ‘The Sensual Skin’ Enhancer has quickly become a staple in my routine. I read about it somewhere as a “Best Beauty Buy” and it certainly is now the same in my book.

I adore this foundation, but I’ve needed some extra help around my eyes and covering my rosacea. This “enhancer” hides imperfections without looking like a concealer. The coverage is adjustable, and I like it mixed with Embryolisse Concentrated Lait Cream for a rather light coverage, but still with a dewy finish.

This little pot of pigment is highly concentrated. I have had mine for over a month and I have only used what was in the cap to the jar. This will last forever! This will be a crowd pleaser because it comes in an array of shades, has flexible coverage and gives a natural, healthy finish.

Available at Sephora, Nordstrom and Amazon.

Wednesday On The Web

Summer Whites on Belle Belle Beauty

A brief check in this Wednesday – the long weekend has me a bit off kilter. Yesterday, I was totally exhausted. Doesn’t seem to make sense after an extra day of rest. After a nap and a little walk yesterday, I am like a new woman. Hope you guys are having a great week!

13 ways to up your summer beauty game.

Emily’s lip tint round-up. I adore this formula.

I found some stray Foot Petals in some high heels. Forgot what life savers they are. I had to order more!

Shiseido Suncare and Melanoma Awareness Month

Shimmied Suncare and Melanoma Awareness Month on Belle Belle Beauty

We are almost to the end of Melanoma Awareness Month and I couldn’t let it slip by without a friendly reminder for sun safety. I have Melanoma in my family and strive to wear sunscreen all the time. I also go for yearly skin checks from my dermatologist. One of the brands I often turn to when pool weather comes around is Shiseido. Not only are they great for active coverage but everyday use and specialty protection. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends these Shiseido products.

Some of my favorites include:

Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion WetForce Broad Spectrum SPF 50+

This water-friendly SPF becomes even more effective on the applied area when exposed to water for 15 minutes. It also helps a ton with dryness – my beef with hot summer weather. It is high, effective protection without feeling heavy.

Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF34

How unique! I had never heard of an eye SPF, but I am in. This is part of my new, everyday summer routine. The rich formula protects and minimizes the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It also fights dryness and adds a radiant finish – something I definitely wouldn’t mind around the pool or at the office.

Available at Sephora and Nordstrom.

JĀSÖN Gentle Basics Collection

JĀSÖN Gentle Basics Collection on Belle Belle Beauty

I’m in the mode of looking for something simple for my face. As I treat my rosacea, I have found I prefer something ultra soothing in my skin care routine. While I have been using Cetaphil, I have actually enjoyed the equally price-friendly JASON collection even better.

The JĀSÖN Gentle Basics is formulated with a minimum number of essential ingredients. The hypoallergenic products are friendly for those with ultra-sensitive and dry skin. The inclusion of Borage Oil deposits essential Omega-3 acids to nourish.

No surprise that the cleansing towelettes are my favorite – perfect for travel and late, lazy nights. The whole range is free of parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates. Gluten free. Fragrance free.

  • Facial Cleanser ($11.99)
  • Day Lotion($16.99)
  • Cleansing Towelettes($6.99)
  • Night Cream($16.99)

Available at Wal-Mart.
