I usually shy away from powder foundation, but I’ve been following a new supplement routine that has my normally dry skin a little more oily and glowy. So this powder foundation landed on my desk at the perfect time. bareMinerals foundations have always worked well for me. My skin drinks in the mineral formulas. And the shade range is solid in my light to medium tone so it is easy to get a perfect match. I am currently using Natural.

Micellar Water, once a hot new beauty product here in the States, is now almost ubiquitous with loads of brands having launched their own versions. But the original is still my favorite. The French Bioderma’s Micellar Water is such a classic. And, in my book, cannot be improved upon. One bottle is sold every two seconds around the world. I use it morning and night. In the AM, it plays more of a role of a toner. At night, I use it to remove makeup and as a second step of cleansing. I love the purity, lack of scent and the fact that it doesn’t irritate my skin. The formula works to restore balance and pH level.

I saved this last Ulta 21 Days of Beauty suggestion for last because it is always the one I stock up on during the event. Buxom’s Lip Polish is my absolute favorite. I share with family and friends all year round because it is just too good to keep to myself. This year’s set is a 6-piece mini of some serious crowd-pleasing shades.
The formula has a slight tingle that refreshes and adds a little plump. The finish is so shiny but without all the transfer that can be so annoying. I am back today with another palette from Ulta that will make you run to their 21 Day of Beauty event going on now through Saturday.
