Wednesday On The Web

The blogging schedule over here has been a little sparse this summer. I am going to accept it as a result of the season and some circumstances. I have been traveling a ton. Some for work and some for fun. But sadly, this week I flew home for the funeral of a dear friend. I certainly know I don’t need explain my recent absence, I thought the pause was appropriate and also due to a bit of shock on my part. Going forward into the fall, I am working on getting back to a regular posting schedule. In the meantime, I will pop in as I can through the month of August. The good news is I have a couple of gems to share with you today:

Today marks the 16th straight day I have worked out and I am seeing results like crazy. I have been doing Betty Rocker’s 30-day challenge and I highly recommend it.

Splash seems to be the theme lately – I think I spent 80% of my weekend in the pool. I am most definitely a water baby. Been keeping the habit going after work this week, just spacing around for some exercise. This week every year is a sort of quiet doldrums after the festive holiday weekend. Hello, Summer! And happy birthday to me. I kinda love that my birthday happens to fall on one of the longest days of the year. But this year, temps are soaring so I am planning on a bunch of AC with maybe a quick splash in the book. Cheers and some finds from around the web:

This past weekend, I went to see some friends in beautiful Aspen. I took this Instagram (#nofilter) and it still is so pretty to me, it seems unreal. We hiked, biked, rafted, shopped, ate seafood towers and drank palomas. You can’t really beat that. But now it is back to the real world.

Speaking of the real world…. in my continuous search to streamline mornings while still being healthy, I just ordered some goodies from Moon Juice.
