Lovely Links – Waves Ahead

Lovely Links - Waves Ahead // Belle Belle Beauty

I always envied those girls who could wash and air dry their hair and it would look fabulous. Mine always was frizzy, confused, wavy and limp. But these last couple of weeks I think I may have finally figured out something that would work for me. I’m testing a Neutrogena hair mask and have discovered loads of hair oils. My hair was just dry! Now my waves look bouncy and shiny. It is my new favorite “undone” look. Here are some of my finds from trolling the web this week:

I love these beauty tips from my favorite Lucky Magazine editors.

Birchbox shares which treatments are best suited for professionals and what you can do at home.

This is a great guide to how much beauty product we really need.

Did you miss my favorite finds – fashion and beauty – from September?

Lusting over these classic boots.

Love this hi/lo comparison discussion on an iconic luxury foundation and drugstore alternative.

I think Katy Perry’s first look as the newest Covergirl face is stunning.

My book collection is really piling up. I love this post from Merritt for some inspiration on how to display them.

And some fabulous sales to share:

Today is the last day of Saks Fifth Avenue’s Friends and Family sale! Get 25% off with code FRNFAM. This clutch is at the top of my wish list.

Cue side-eye and say, “Puh-lease, as if!” No really, whether it’s what your friend says when you’re trying on a new trend, or determining if you’re a good bitch or a bad bitch, heck, even if you’re trying to make those jeans work with heels, it’s all here this week. Plus a couple of cute ideas for Halloween! Even if you need to fix your brows, this is the link list to browse.

Lovely Links – Feeling Tough

6a92878f4c7fe8ef63e76f5020f04668

This week, I got my second medical peel with Tulsa Skin Guru, Gabriel Horn. Right now, my skin looks like a disaster area, but I’ve been assured and reassured that the results are going to be astounding! While it tingled a little during the application, it is painless now. Stay tuned on the blog for a full re-cap and results next week. Needless to say, I am going to avoid frightening children (and anyone I encounter), so I am holed up in my apartment with a DVD full of fall shows and snuggling with the pups. Here are my favorites from trolling the web this week:

– I adore this interview with John Januzzi, Senior Digital Projects Editor for Lucky Magazine. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him (he’s lovely and inspiring).

– I’m obsessed with the new site, Beyond the Row. This piece on finding the right mask for your skin type is spot on.

– Nordstrom’s French Fling Pop-in shop is taking me right back to my days studying in Paris! Side note: obsessed with this drapey trench.

– Amazon, one of my favorite online retailers, launched a luxury beauty shop!

– Love my blogging BFF’s (A Little Bit Etc.) picks for fall nail colors.

– I’m so glad the some men also face what this guy calls the “shampoo-bottle Tetris” when trying to travel without checking a bag.

– I love this rainy day look.

– Nail polish nuts and Gwen Stefani fans, heads up! Expect her collection with OPI in January.

In honor of Columbus day, the web is full of some crazy great sales! BTW, does anyone know of a person that actually gets this day off? I sure don’t…
