Beach Hair on Belle Belle Beauty

What a rainy week to start off March! Not complaining since we need the moisture with all the wildfires here. And I love a cozy, rainy day. But man… just makes me want to take a nap, curled up with my pups. All around it has been a cozy week here – I finally watched the Downton Abbey season finale and it was superb. Well written, happy but not cheesy, completion to story lines while letting those incredibly well developed characters live on in our imagination. That along with Peyton Manning’s farewell speech on Monday, there have been some poignant end of chapters this week! Some finds from around the web:

Really tempted to stock up on some of these Moon Juice goodies.

Quirky packaging, awesome products.

I have been lusting for peep-toe booties and wish I had ordered these when my size was in stock. 🙁

Wednesday On The Web on Belle Belle Beauty

I’m newly hooked on Parachute – got the bedding about a month ago – and already can’t wait to order their new bath collection. I ordered the percale set in Ash which matches my headboard perfectly. I seriously have slept better the last couple weeks than I have in years. The bath collection launched this week and I already can tell – the bath sheets have my name on them!

Some other finds I love from around the web:

I agree wholeheartedly with these essential brushes.

I’m far from a perfectionist, but this article makes my heart go pitter-patter.

The coolest hotel-non-hotel.

Shopbop Sale Alert

It is that time of year again – my favorite time to stock up on staples for the new season. This year at the Shopbop Spring Sale have my eye on Vince (as always), Rag & Bone, Sea and surprisingly the most supple loafers from Tory Burch. My favorite finds from the sale:

Remember-Gray-Doesnt-Always-Look-Drab

I read yesterday that spring is only 25 days away. What? I know most of you are reveling in the arrival of warmer weather. But I feel cheated. Last weekend is was 85 here in Tulsa. This coming weekend it is supposed to be 75. Not only am I not ready for those warm temps (my A/C went out last weekend – grrrrr), but as an allergy sufferer, I know that things might get really bad since we didn’t have a proper freeze here this year (double grrrr). Hopefully one more cold snap before flowers bloom. But in the case that doesn’t happen, I will be working to emulate this awesome in-between-season outfit above.

Who knew my favorite new sneaker designer also makes my dream biker jacket?

Spring Layers on Belle Belle Beauty

Wednesday snuck up on me with this short week! So today, a short list of my favorite things from around the web:

Loved Emily’s post about where she spends and saves on beauty. Agreed on almost every front, although I admit to being on a gel manicure kick the last couple of months.

Looking forward to trying out this since I am not so great about getting my greens.

Empathy versus Sympathy.

Loving everything Zero + Maria Cornejo.

The Southwest on Belle Belle Beauty

I thought I was going to manage a quick getaway this weekend, but turns out a sinus infection bit back. Yesterday I was officially miserable. Today I’m just kinda miserable. I almost snuck through the whole winter without a cold.

On the bright side, I have a luxurious long weekend with no plans other than Netflix, puppies and cleaning out the closet. Darn Marie Kondo has turned my weekends into purge sessions.

In the meantime, here are some finds from around the web:

Speaking of Netflix, foodies need to check out Chef’s Table – a fascinating docu-series featuring a different chef each episode.

Love this jacket for late winter/spring weather.

I’m the first to admit that I turn to Netflix to unwind. Loved reading about Hitha’s decompressing alternatives.

I just received my Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo – can’t wait to report results – I’ve heard it works wonders against problematic dryness and flakes.
