Exclusive Interview: Emma Roberts’ Favorite New Years Look

Exclusive Interview: Emma Roberts' Favorite New Years Look on Belle Belle Beauty

Anyone else an Emma Roberts fan? I love her transformative style and I admit to being a fan of her very scary TV show, American Horror Story: Coven. And then I found out we have a beauty BOND! Emma is a Talent Ambassador for Neutrogena (Did you see this post? Obviously I am wild about this drugstore brand). I was lucky enough to be able to ask her some questions about her holiday beauty routine including tips and tricks. Check out here beauty wisdom here:

What’s in your clutch this holiday season?

I love Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara. It’s ideal for more dramatic eyes, because you can put on lots of coats without worrying it clumping or looking too much. The MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Sweet Watermelon is also a staple in my bag for everyday. I am really into wine colored lips this holiday season, so MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Rich Raisin is the perfect pop of color, paired with a clean eye with just mascara and minimal eye liner. Also a great tip my makeup artist taught me is that you can also use the natural colors as a cheek stain which is handy when you only have one product with you and need a quick touch-up.

How do you keep your skin in check during this busy time of year?

We have been filming a lot this month and I am always wearing makeup on-set and also if I go out for holiday events, so I need something that doesn’t just cover but is actually good for my skin. I like Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup with SPF 20 because its light so it isn’t like you have makeup on, and has the added bonus of containing SPF which you need to wear in the winter too! Also, no matter how late it is or how tired I am, I always take my makeup off at the end of the day. I even keep Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes on my bedside table so there is no excuse!

Glitter: do or don’t?

I always lean towards no on this one unless it is Halloween or you are being festive, but who doesn’t like a little bit of sparkle on occasion. I did wear silver sparkles on my eyes at my American Horror Story: Coven premiere! But, overall day to day, I like to keep things more natural.

What is your favorite holiday makeup trend?

You can’t go wrong with a smoky eye. My makeup artist Amy Oresman likes to use Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadows because they act as the perfect primer and shadow in one and don’t crease which is the worst when you are wearing eye makeup.

What are your holiday plans?

I just finished filming American Horror Story: Coven in New Orleans so I’m excited to relax and spend some time with my family and friends over the holidays.
