I don’t always get super jazzed when a lifestyle brand enters the beauty world. But something told me Tory Burch would do it right. I am so excited to get my paws on her acclaimed lipsticks. But for now, I am indulging in her first ever fragrance. And let me tell ya… she did it right.
First, as expected, her packaging has the preppy elegance and sophistication she’s known for. I love how she incorporated her logo in a hefty and luxe fretwork top.
At first sniff, I find the fragrance to be more floral (peony and tuberose) that I am usually drawn to, giving it a feminine flare. But as it dries down, the middle notes are more refined and masculine – likely the vetiver. The fruity grapefruit and neroli make it perfectly light for spring months. And as expected, I swoon for my beloved sandalwood.
