NET-A-PORTER Beauty

NET-A-PORTER Beauty on Belle Belle Beauty

NET-A-PORTER Beauty has been around since 2013 so I realize this isn’t a newsflash. But I was perusing the site this week and realized that it is literally exactly what I would curate if I could design a beauty store myself. Major bonus for the fact they will be adding Tom Ford next week – swoon. The collection on the site will be an edited assortment of makeup around their Fall 2015 runway show as well as some of Tom Ford’s gorgeous fragrances.

While I haven’t had a chance to check out the brand, Miller Harris Fragrance sounds interesting. The inspiration is raw materials and a distilled collection true to perfumers. Next up is African Botanics, a non-toxic skin care line – already so excited. Think beautifully developed oils. Last, you guys know I love wipes because, well…. lazy. Cleanse by Lauren Napier is the queen of cleansing on the go. I cannot wait to try out her textured wipes with aloe, chamomile and cucumber.

Versona Accessories Opens in Tulsa

Versona Accessories Opens in Tulsa on Belle Belle BeautyBefore a couple weeks ago, I had never heard of Versona Accessories. Shame on me because the stores are all over the southern United States. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I was invited to attend the grand opening right here in Tulsa.

Needless to say I was thrilled to find affordable accessories, clothes and shoes! The store is huge, but the staff was helpful without being overbearing. I was impressed – considering the prices – how well constructed the shoes were and how rich the fabrics felt! And bonus points for the smattering of work wear.

I picked up a bunch of jersey basics (starting at $19.99). I was tempted by the shoes but decided to wait until spring was in full swing. Needless to say, I will be returning. And good news for those living where there isn’t a store – Versona just launched e-commerce.

That’s not all – I am sharing the love today and teamed up with Versona to give away one $25 gift card. Just enter using the widget below. Sorry 🙁 US only on this one.

Holiday Cheer

Messy Pony on Belle Belle Beauty

A quick post today for all of you that are scrambling like me with their holiday shopping. Thank goodness for the Internet! A perfect distraction with my current busy-as-heck-Monday-blues. And given I’m running around like a crazy person, this messy pony look above is on the rotation lately more than I’d like to admit. Some favorite links from around the web for you procrastinators out there:

Love this post about holiday traditions in Iceland (currently suffering from a bout of wanderlust).

This post about guilt… and all I can say is “I’m guilty”.

I am really starting to believe in the Attention Economy (and probably why I deleted FB and text alerts on my phone even though I really do love online shopping).

tree

Okay… we are official now. Don’t tell anyone that my tree has literally been up for weeks. Granted, it is totally bare Charlie Brown as it currently stands, but I can fully admit to already being fully in the holiday spirit. I am hoping to transform it into this amazing tree featured on Glitter Guide – perfectly simple and twinkly.
