NUDE Skincare Progenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil

NUDE Skincare Progenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil on Belle Belle Beauty

One of my most favorite fellow beauty bloggers, A Little Bit Etc…, has been raving about NUDE Skincare forever. So I don’t know why it has taken me so long to jump on the bandwagon. But I have now, and I don’t see getting off any time soon. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the range. But for now, I will tell you about my first product from NUDE and a reason to love them on its own.

Summer doesn’t really sound like time to try out a face oil. But my dry skin loved this ultra-sheer version. My skin felt revived but not greasy. Plus, the antioxidants help out while we are subjected to summer’s rays. The antioxidants are thanks to omegas 3 and 6 and vitamin C – all great for environmental protection.

Also included in the formula is bakuchiol which works to repair and refine texture. Coleus root and rosemary helps unclog pores – something I am grateful thanks to a few blackheads that I blame on aggressive SPF application (a necessary evil).

I use about a third of a dropper and apply using the tips of my fingers. I am able to detect a very slight botanical and almost spa-like scent. After it is on my skin, I can’t smell the fragrance (which is all natural by the way). The oil soaks immediately into my skin and soothes any redness – I love applying after my evening walk.

I also appreciate that the rescue oil contains no petrolatum, synthetic color, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, and silicones. ProGenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil is all-natural, vegan, and cruelty-free. Made in the USA.

Available at Sephora.

New From L’OCCITANE

New From L’OCCITANE on Belle Belle Beauty

I’m kind of in a nervous state due to this drought in California. Not only is it a state I call (one of my many) homes, but I have an Alma Mater and many friends and family that actually live there. I’ll be doing a rain dance but in the meantime, I am also worried about my beloved almonds. California is the source of many – maybe most – of the almonds Americans nosh on every day.

Without surprise, my almond obsession spills over to my beauty obsession. And it was many years ago I first fell for L’OCCITANE Almond Hand Soap (which I sadly cannot find anymore). So when I got a chance to try out the new Almond Velvet Youthful Body Serum and Balm, I was elated.

The serum is truly unique – the concentrated formula contains nourishing almond with vitamin C to heal and energize skin. It hydrates but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. Skin is left velvety smooth. I can’t think of a better moisturizer for summer. The balm is a heavier cream that soothes skin – but it still sinks into skin quickly leaving a powdery finish. I prefer using this at night and might just be the ticket after a day at the pool.

Also new from L’OCCITANE is the Divine Immortelle 28 Day Renewal Program. I was new to the Divine collection and quickly fell for the Divine Youth Oil – gentle and plumping aka everything you could ask for in a face oil. The Renewal Program took a little more time to review and digest. Over four weeks, I used specifically designed seven capsule strips. The process is crafted for renewal and exfoliation. The capsules are generous in size and I was able to cover my face, neck and decolletage. At the end of the month, I found my skin clearer, refreshed, less red and calmed. It definitely made a difference in my no-makeup experiment. Well worth it to infuse skin with ingredients like Rosemary and Carrot. And bonus points for an (accidental) accountability system to make sure skin care is part of your daily routine.

Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil

Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil on Belle Belle Beauty

Do you know that feeling when something happens and it feels so life changing… then all of a sudden you realize you’re left not too far from where you were before the momentous event? I’ve spent a couple days angry about something and then I was listening to a new top 40 hit, Pompeii by Bastille and heard these words:

But if you close your eyes,
Does it almost feel like
Nothing changed at all?
And if you close your eyes,
Does it almost feel like
You’ve been here before?
How am I gonna be an optimist about this?

So here we are pretty much exactly where we started and the challenge is to become optimistic. I guess I can do that. And what better way to put on a happy new face than a brand new face oil. By now, you know I love a good face oil, and Colbert MD’s Illumino Face Oil is a luxe version worthy of high praise.

Dr. Colbert is an accomplished Internal Medicine and Dermatology physician with accolades, books and tons of media appearances. His skin care line was developed around his patented QuSome delivery system, allowing for max absorption of ingredients before they start to work. Thanks to this, the line is particularly well-suited to fight aging and inflammation and add radiance to skin.

The Illimino Face Oil works on texture and glow especially well. Since I am back on the Retin-A bandwagon, I actually appreciate the active ingredients. Retinol and Vitamin C work to even and brighten. While the oil adds nourishment and hydration. Win win. Specifically the oils work several ways:

  • Borage Seed Oil A rich source of Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA) which aids in cell repair and improves skin’s overall tone and texture.
  • Yangu Oil Improves skin’s elasticity, suppleness.
  • Marula Oil Infused with Oleic Acid which aids in hydration and skin barrier function.
  • Passion Fruit Oil Improves skin’s elasticity while acting as an antioxidant.
  • Argan Oil A deeply penetrating antioxidant rich in Vitamin E.

Available at Space NK, Barneys and ColbertMD.com.

NEW: Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment

NEW: Kate Somerville Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment // Belle Belle Beauty

Just when I was thinking Kate Somerville couldn’t possibly get any more amazing, she comes out with another dream product. Everything in her product line speaks to some need while still being so well thought out. This time, her Dilo Oil checks the box of being 100% natural and is designed for simply healthier looking skin. Who wouldn’t want that?

Natural oils work to improve hydration and strengthen moisture barrier. I’ve found that I get a glow even though it is so quickly absorbed. Over time, it also can improve find lines and wrinkles and even skin tone. It came in particularly handy on my long plane flights last week. I might have slightly gone over the recommended 1-2 drops but my skin still soaked it up with out looking greasy.

Thanks to a nasty summer cold, I can’t really smell. But as I remember it last week, Dilo oil has a slight but pleasant natural fragrance – almost tropical. And if that hasn’t sold you yet… check out this video by Kate telling her story about discovering this treasured Dilo nut!

You can find Dilo Oil Restorative Treatment at KateSomerville.com.

L’Oréal Paris Sublime Sun Sheer Protect Sunscreen Oil GIVEAWAY

L’Oréal Paris Sublime Sun Sheer Protect Sunscreen Oil SPFs GIVEAWAY // Belle Belle Beauty

Ever since I tried out the L’Oréal Paris Sublime Suncreen last summer, I have been singing its praises. I love the scent and sheen it gives my skin while still packing a super powered protection. This summer, they have introduced a new form of sunscreen, the high SPF oil sprays. Gone are the days where a sunscreen oil only provided at max a SPF 4.

This oil version features the same photostable UV filter system and powerful antioxidants as the original Sublime Sun lotions. But contains nourishing argan oil, shea oil, grapeseed oil and sunflower oil. It comes in SPF 15, 30 and a whopping 50+. I’ve been wearing the 50+ at the pool lately and love the beachy scent and hydration it provides for my skin. The formulas also offer a patent-pending polymer technology for improved water resistance.

I’m not the only one bonkers over Sublime. Ashley Tisdale was spotted using L’Oréal Paris Sublime Sun Sheer Protect Sunscreen Oil while laying out by the pool this week in Laguna Beach, CA.
